Laptop shows weird white screen after sleep

I have a Dell Inspiron 5559 laptop that is running windows 10. Whenever the laptop comes out of sleep mode a weird white screen comes up. And a restart is the only way to solve it.
I've reset windows completely, and formatted the drive and erased everything on it but the problem still occurs which leads me to believe it is a hardware problem. I just don't know where to start looking.

I think I fixed the problem by uninstalling my graphics driver and then restarting the computer and letting windows reinstall the driver.
