Laptop shut down at battery level 67%

My Acer Laptop model Aspire V11 Touch V3 111P-P16L, shuts down without warning at battery 67%. When it is powered it only charges for 30 minutes. This battery is supposed to last 6 hours and I have had this laptop for less than 2 years? This started over 4 months ago, What is the problem with this battery?

Hi,

Please do try to calibrate the battery of your laptop first using this steps provided in this link below.

Once done and if the same problem will persist, do test the AC adapter as well. Remove the battery off the laptop then plug in just the AC adapter and see if it will stay on because if it will not power on or stay on that means there's a problem with the AC adapter but if it will stay on with that means the problem is the battery of your laptop.
