Laptop speakers won't work when plugged in.

I pulled out my headphones at a weird angle and today the speakers I used won't work unless I turn it or pull it out a bit. My headphones still work fine and I tried everything from control panel and sound playback and do nothing in the device management nothing works.

Could it be damage to the sound jack?

From what you said happened, yes you likely damaged the jack.
