I have a Toshiba Satellite P870 PSP LBU w/ intel i7-3610 QM Ivy Bridge w/ PCIe 3.0, available lane configs; 1x16,2x8,2x4, 1x8. Max lanes:16. Max memory channels:2. Max memory bandwidth: 25.6GBs. Can you verify if NVMe support is present? Can any of the OCZ RD400 iterations be used?

I see no mention of that having an m.2 port to accommodate an nvme drive in your specs. Sorry.
You shouldn't have a problem replacing the HDD with an SSD should you be so inclined.
