I have a pc, but I am thinking about selling it for a gaming laptop or tablet because I am soon going to college and I sometimes go to my home country for a visit and I end up not playing with my friends because I only have a PC. My question is: Is selling this PC and getting a laptop or a tablet worth doing? I am going to a college where I will be using Photoshop, Premiper and stuff like that, but I'm also interested in computer arts. The PC that I have has the following hardware:
- I5-4670k
- Corsair H100i
- Gigabyte GTX770 Windforce OC
- Asus Sabertooth Z87
- Kingston 120GB SSD
- Seagate 1TB SSHD
- G.Skill Ripjaws-X DDR3 1600MHz 8GB (2x4GB)
- NZXT Phantom 410

If you want to game tablet is out of the question. If you are looking to have mobility for school and going home the laptop could be viable solution. There are many gaming laptops out there with specs similar to your current PC.

If I was to choose a tablet I was thinking about the AMD Discovery, if a laptop maybe a Razer Blade, but I'm not sure if I would be able to sell my PC to get a Razer Blade, since I don't have any money atm... :\

My advise is don't sell your Desktop. On laptop you can not upgrade later.Get a laptop for light/school work. It's not better for selling a gaming Rig for a gaming laptop. You know a gaming computer is ahead the gaming laptop.

I don't really know if I can sell for enough money so I can get a Razer Blade.. :/ I'm wanting to sell it for around £1300-1400
