Any temp software for an HP dv6 laptop with Windows 7 and an AMD A8 processor?

you could try http/www.hwinfo.com/ to see if it will detect your sensors

Found a program called Speedfan.

this is one of them free you also got pc wizard and cpuid hw monitor

I just use Coretemp and the CPU monitor gadget, I also have a dv6. idles around 130 degree's laying on my bed watching youtube videos...
