when i shut the lid of my dell laptop to use it again i have to turn it on and off help ??

Click the battery icon.
Click more power options.
Click "choose what closing the lid does" option.
Click "change the settings that are currently available" (this line will be in blue text)
Choose from the list what you prefer.
