Hello.. I have an Asus x541sa laptop which I purchased 11 months ago. Lately the laptop keeps shutting down randomly when on battery power. When i connect the ac charger it works just fine. The frequency of shutting down is so random. It may occur 12 times a day, once a day or thrice a week. I have had my ram chip and battery checked and they are fine. The shutting down occurs any time even when the laptop is idle.
It runs 500gb hdd, linux debian os, 4gb ram, intel celeron. Will someone please help. I love the laptop so much

I would suggest checking the power settings.

1. Go to "Control Panel" and then "Power Options".
2. Click on "Change plan settings", next to the plan you are using.
3. Now click "Change advanced power settings".
4. Here you are going to want to check all the options to make sure that nothing is set to make the device turn off or sleep when you don't want it to.
5. Once you have made all your changes, click "Apply" and then "OK" and restart the computer.

Thanks but the problem doesn't seem to be on my settings. I used to think so but then I realized it couldn't be so since I reinstalled windows 10 twice and i am currently running linux debuan using default settings.
