Laptop typing ` instead of a! help!

I am typing this on my ipad, now all of a sudden, my a key either doesnt work, or types `

Look for the little keyboard icon on your taskbar (generally) and switch the language back to your usual (US/UK etc), sounds like it might've switched to something else - no idea how/why it happens, but it does.

Given OP says he/she is typing on an ipad....

I assumed posting on an iPad because their laptop had the issue.....considering they were able to post.
