Hello everyone,

I bought this shit-top last night because of it's attractive price and the gpu.

Intel i5 5th Gen, 2.2ghz
8 Gigs Ram
Nvidia GeForce 920m

According to many webs out there like game-debate.com & gpuboss.com, I should be able to run Dota 2 on 75+ fps at Medium settings.

For reference I did some homework before buying the laptop which included these two pages:

http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-920M.138763.0.html

http://www.notebookcheck.com/Dota-2-Benchmarks.99462.0.html

Sadly, Dota 2 currently is locked at 30-25fps on every setting. Either it's low, medium or high. It's varying from 30-25fs, which sucks. I know my laptop sucks, but c'mon, let's be honest. We both know that this laptop is capable of more. Guide me to light.

Thanks in advance :)

Nvm, I fixed it. You see, I got Win8.1 on my laptop. Used the Win7 compatibility mode on Dota 2 and viola! I'm golden. 110fps!
Thanks everyone :)

did you update to the latest drivers for the video card? From Nvidias website not windows update. if it is new it may be running with windows drivers and they are tailored for stability not bleeding edge performance.

Yes I did update it via Nvidia GeFroce Explorer software last night as soon as i popped the box.
Also, Dota 2 is currently running on my 920M GPU, verified by the Nvidia Control Panel.
