Question Laptop WiFi Connection Issue, Network Settings Crashing

My laptop has this issue where it will sometimes (and more often than not) not connect automatically to WiFi on startup. When this issue happens, I will simply connect it manually. However, recently, I've noticed that when this problem happens, and I try to do it manually as I normally would, the list of WiFi networks will be empty, and when I try to go into the Network Settings, the settings window will pop up for about a second before it closes on its own.

The only things I've been doing when the settings window is being stubborn is turning on/off airplane mode and try to troubleshoot the problem (which always feels like it's stuck) before the laptop will magically decide to connect to WiFi on its own.

Additionally, I'd just like to add that I also uninstalled Avast Antivirus from my laptop since I read somewhere that it interferes with WiFi connections, however, the problem still persists.

I'm so confused about this issue. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.
