Laptop Will Not Display to HDMI Anymore

So my laptop won't display to HDMI, I have hit the presentation mode key, changed the output settings, tried different TVs, uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers, and so far nothing has worked. The weird thing is the monitor or TV will detect the input when I wake my laptop or turn it on so there's obviously some sort of signal being transmitted.

Did you try a different HDMI cable?

yes, I've tried a couple different HDMI cables, and the one I'm currently using works with other devices.

So my Intel integrated graphics driver will not update to the most recent version for some reason. Even if I download it direct it still installs an old version. Any ideas?
