Question Laptop won’t turn on

I have a Lenovo laptop with an internal battery. It has been 1 year since I bought it. It just shut down while I was using it because it was hot. I let it cool down and tried opening it but it won’t, but when I press the power button it lights up for 5 secs then closes. I tried plugging in my charger then opening it same thing happens but the charger light also turns off but lights up again in a few seconds. I tried opening it without the internal battery with only the adapter plugged in same thing on the power button but a red light flashes inside the motherboard near the charger port. Any help or suggestion on what’s the problem?

Sounds like your problem may well be that something got fried. I would suggest you have it looked at by a tech.
