laptop won`t turn on - Toshiba Satellite C55-C5241

The motherboard could be fried. Also two of my sisters had a problem with a toshiba laptop where it would melt some of the connections off the motherboard. Check to see what is disconnected even a little bit and try to solder it back on. If you can't, I reccomend replacing the laptop with a different brand
