My toshiba satellite wont turn on. I took the battery out reinserted it but the board heats right up as soon as the battery gets fixed and still wont turn on. The charging lights wont light up when connected but the adapter isnt damaged.

Solution
Adapter may not be working even if you can't see actual damage to it. Did you try without the battery in only on wall power/

Can try opening the laptop (with battery out of-course), remove the CMOS battery from the motherboard, hold in power button for about 30 seconds. Plug in wall power only and see if it turns on. If it does, replace the CMOS battery and see if it works at all. if it does not, could be a dead motherboard, most likely thing.
