I have a more than 6 years old 15" laptop on Intel Core i7-3610QM and a new one 17" on i5-8250U. Both computers have detachable batteries, which I store in the fridge. I use them with AC adapters only. Today I found the old battery is still in a perfect condition and holds power as a new one.
My third laptop is Dell Inspiron 13 7368 with a non-removable 42Wh battery, bought in July 1916. The battery has "reached the end of its usable life". The problem is that probably the computer cannot be used without a battery (I don't know and have to check), so I am practically enchained to Dell and their shop as long as I have their laptop.
My solution is to sell it and to look for a 13" 2-in-1 laptop with touch screen and removable battery. Does anyone know of such a notebook?
