Solved! Laser engraving the top of a laptop

With a 15 watt laser (that should work right?) I want to laser engrave the back of a laptop when I get one. Currently probably an Acer Nitro 5 (could change). I don't see this kind of thing often is there a reason why? Are there any designs that would be nice? Maybe a corner that takes up about 1/3rd of the back?
