Learning basics and advanced photography from Canon 1100D

I own a Canon 1100D with default lens.. I am facing a great difficulty in using my 1st DSLR.. I don't seem to get a hand on this camera.. i don't even know what settings, for which photo.. i get irritated with the controls which i am not understanding and start to shoot on auto mnode... plz help me getting to know the camera better.. and also basics and advanced photography techniques... I love clicking pics.. from my phone. but i want to b able to do the same with my camera.. Any tips, Photography websites,magazine links wil help .. Thank u

Go online you can find all you need to learn how to. But first you have to read the manual first, make sure you know your camera + lens well.
