Lenova B50-80 goes to sleep

I am using a B50-80 for recording from security cameras. I have changed the Windows 10 Never to go into sleep mode, In spite of that the computer goes into sleep mode after 2 days and as a result the camera are not recorded. I have to wake it up with a pw for the software to start again. As a result I cannot leave the computer unattended. How can I rectify this?

Hi,

Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help in resolving that issue with sleep mode.
- Open power option, right click on the battery icon and select Power Options.
- Click Change plan settings then Change advanced power settings
- Once open expand "Hard Disk" and "Turn off hard disk after" then set it to Never.
- Expand "Sleep after" and set it to Never, Allow hybrid sleep to Off, Hibernate after to Never as well.
- Click Apply and OK.

I did not go into the advanced option when I set the power options..
I followed your instructions and I think it should solve the problem.
I'll let you know whether it is successful.

Update:
I was away on holidays and I found that the computer stopped recording after 4 days.
There was enough hard disk space.
I am not sure whether the problem is due to TeamViewer or something else.
I followed your advice to the letter. On reviewing I noted that I set the screen to go off after 20 minutes.
Today I am setting it NOT to go off. I'll try again and let you know.
