Hello,

I recently bought a lenovo flex 3 1580 15.6'' laptop from Lenovo. As I launched up a game, I realized that the trackpad and keyboard cannot be used together. This really is annoying especially in a FPS's title(yes I use a trackpad). Is there any solution for this? I have the lenovo mouse drivers still installed, but it is not synaptic and when I tried to install synaptic it would not work, something about no OS specific setup. Is there any way? It works fine with a mouse, but I would like this to be enabled when I am using a trackpad

Thanks,

TBW

Hi,

Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help as this was suggested by others who had the same problem.
- Open Control Panel then click on Mouse.
- Once open click on Device Settings tab then click on Settings button.
- On the left pane, expand Pointing by clicking on the + sign next to it.
- Next is to expand Sensitivity. then click on PalmCheck.
- Move the slider all the way down to minimum.

When I click on Mouse through the control panel, it does not show a "device setting" tab. When I click mouse, I go straight to mouse properties. The tabs I have are "buttons", "Pointers", "Pointer Options", "Wheel", "Hardware", and "touch pad"
