Hi everyone.

My Lenovo G50-70 (i5, 6GB ram, 5 years old) has the following issues:

Working on battery:

When I press the power button the screen becomes black, fan spins and the power light comes on.
In 1 second everything stops.
All future attempts to start fail.
Startup by Novo button fails too.
No chance to enter BIOS either.

Power cord connected:

When I press the power button the screen becomes black, fan spins and the power light comes on.
In 1 second everything stops.
Second attempt the laptop starts and functions normally and works till it is shut down or hibernated.
The laptop functions normally if I remove the power cable immediately after the lenovo splash screen comes on.
The laptop starts and functions normally if a restart is performed without the power cord connected (if already working normally before with the power cord connected).
I can enter BIOS by Point #5.
If I shut down after a normal startup without the power cord connected; the laptop will not boot and behaves as per the working on battery issues.

Attempts made to resolve this issue and other details:

Power drain done.
Laptop internal cleanup done by removing all components.
No overheating issues found.
CMOS battery not checked or changed.
BIOS version - 9ACN32WW
Windows version 10 - 1909. Build 18363.778

Any help in this matter is much appreciated. Thank you very much everyone.

Regards,
Royston
