Lenovo G505s won't turn on

I replaced my DC in cable on my laptop, but once i got it all back together it will not turn on. The only sign of life is the battery LED on the front of the laptop, which only turns on when plugged in.

I have tried resetting the ram and all the power button combinations but still can't figure it out. Any replies will be helpful.

Hi,

Have you tried powering on the laptop without the battery and just the AC adapter connected only? Also have you tried using a different AC adapter? Lastly is to do a hard reset, remove the battery and AC adapter then press and hold the power button for around 20 secs the see if it would turn back on.
