Lenovo g510s randomly switched off and wont turn on

I bought my lenovo a little over a year ago ans a few days ago while i was watching a movie the laptop suddenly switched off. i tried several times to reboot it but it ont turn on. Whenever i try to charge the laptop the battery light is blinking red and when i press the power button the led indicator glows white but both lights switch off after a few minutes


I just discovered that the cd rom is still functional and i was able to open it a remove the cd inside. But the laptop wont turn on. PLEASE HELP ME, my warranty just expired a few days ago and i cant afford to pay someone to have it fixed

Hi there,

Have you tried to check if there is an errorcode for the lights ?? sometimes the position of the lights on/off state is corresponding with a code, the code can be looked up and tells you what the laptop suffers from.
you can look it up on the Lenovo-site.

you can also google: light errorcode lenovo and some other details of you laptop !
