Solved! Lenovo G555 Screen won't turn on

I have a Lenovo G555, The screen will flash the lenovo splash screen when i boot it for a fraction of a second. After that the screen shuts completly off it seems, held it in a dark room no light. The computer still runs fine as i was able to sign into it and turn it off using the ctrl+alt+del menu. Please help ;-;

Use a flash light while the laptop is on, can you see the windows screen?

If yes, the back light of the laptop is faulty or the connection to it.

If not,
Try an external monitor with it

I've tried using an external monitor but it would not display ;-;

while the laptop is on and running, press the windows key and hold it, press the button P twice, release the windows button

if it doesn´t display a picture then, your GPU might be faulty
