lenovo g580 ram

i am hving lenovo g580 laptop.It is having 2gb ram in it.I want to add more rams to it.So, which combination will be good? 2gb+6gb or 2gb+4gb....

Go to www.crucial.com and use their memory scanner - it's quite safe to allow them in.

That will tell you what you have and by how much you can upgrade it. It will also give prices of their RAM but you don't he to buy form them.
