Lenovo Ideapad 110 faulty keyboard issue.

Hello everyone I have a Lenovo Ideapad 110 whose internal keyboard it seems is dying as 'G' doesn't works and sometimes while typing 'J' gets pressed. So I had planned to disconnect the keyboard from the motherboard physically and connect a usb keyboard to work on the laptop.
After disconnecting the keyboard from the motherboard I realized that the power button is on the keyboard itself.

What I want to know is that is there anything else I can do to disable the internal keyboard of the laptop and still make it function as normal?

I've tried disabling the internal keyboard through a third party device manager as well but it doesn't seems to work. I was really trying to avoid of getting my laptop keyboard replaced by a new internal keyboard as it won't have any warranty and the laptops warranty has also ended.

Any and all help and suggestions are appreciated.

If you turn off the computer and attach an external keyboard, it should stop the attached one from working/doing anything while the external one is connected.

Unfortunately no even after attaching the external keyboard with laptop switched of the internal starts interfering with USB one.

Very very odd. If that is the case, the only thing I can think of to resolve it is to then replace the attached keyboard.

Unless anyone has any other ideas?

OK well then I'll try getting the keyboard replaced today and update the thread once that is done.

I wasn't able to find a replacement keyboard for the laptop. Mods please close this thread.
