Lenovo Ideapad 305 ca no longer connect to TV via HDMI cable

Hi
My laptop uses Windows 10 and it can no longer connect to the TV although it was able to previously. I changed the display settings and resolution but to no avail as the TV says that there is no signal. I also tried to disable and enable the IntelHD Graphics under the display adapter but it is still not working. My other laptop which is a DELL and uses Windows Vista is also facing the same problem. Please help and thank you for your time!

Try unplugging it from the computer and plugging it back in. Then press the fn key along with whatever F key has an icon of a monitor and a tv on it. See if that gets them to register again.

Hi! Thanks for replying and the tip. I tried to duplicate the monitors but it still doesn't work.

No. I just got this laptop last May. Was using it like normal and suddenly it couldn't duplicate anymore. This also happened to my other laptop and no, i didn't update anything on it as well.

Hmm... Very unusual. You could try another HDMI cable. Sometimes it is something that simple.
