Solved! Lenovo IdeaPad s740 15 Laptop for an Engineering student?

I’m going into my first year at university as an engineering student and want something that can handle stuff like CAD, Solidworks, and Matlab. I won’t be gaming or anything just want a sturdy laptop that can preform well for my next 4 years at university. I came across the Lenovo IdeaPad on the Microsoft store and was surprised to see how great the specs were for the price. I never thought of the IdeaPad as a laptop for an engineering student so I was wondering if I could get some thoughts from other people on wether this would be a good purchase.
