Hello i want to get Lenovo IdeaPad Z50-70A (15.6" Core i3-4030U 4Gb 1TB GeForce GT840 2GB) is it a good choice for gaming? which games at what resolutions could i play?

You can check out some benchmarks in the following link. However, the laptops used for those benchmarks likely have a Core i5 or Core i7 CPU which have higher clockspeeds than a Core i3. Certain Core i7 CPUs are also quad core as well. You will likely have lower results with a Core i3 CPU.

I recommend getting a version with a Core i5 CPU, but that will probably add another $100 to the price.
