My lenovo u410 laptop fan is always on high even though i'm not running any apps, and even from start up, it's running on high. Are there any solutions to bringing the fan speed back to normal?

I will recommend that you disassemble and thoroughly clean the laptop especially the heat sink. Often dust bunnies will form on the heat sink and once formed are virtually impossible to remove with compressed air or other means short of a thorough cleaning. If you are wary of getting into your laptop a local shop should be able to clean it for you

unfortunately this laptop has no screws to dissemble, and is most likely glued together. I have no idea what to do

Perhaps this video will be of help http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1sGwQBiGw-Y seems to be an ingenious design (I like it) that will allow you access to the HSF with only the removal of three screws (nice feature, I thought my Sony was easy cause it only needs 14 screws removed to access the HSF) and seems to attach everything with three screws (battery, HDD... I didn't watch further but it seems to be a trend there)
