lenovo miix 510 sensitivity

My lenovo miix 510 is only about 2 weeks old, and since i got it i've noticed that the power button is not very sensitive and needs to be held down for way longer than any other device i've ever used when powering on/off and returning from sleep mode. Is this the norm with this type of device or could mine be faulty?

It would really depend on how 'way longer' it needs to be held down. It is possible it just is made that way to keep it from accidentally turning on. However, If it is that new and giving you trouble already (and it is bothering you), I would take it back and have them replace it.
