Lenovo or HP?

So I bought this HP laptop at Costco for 675$ and was wondering if i should take it back and put some extra money to upgrade it toward a Lenovo they have. i was wondering if i might be able to get your opinions? Im going to be using this laptop for school and was wanting to use it for a litle bit of gaming on the side. From what i can tell it seems that the Lenovo is quite a bit better but I dont know much about laptops. Thank you in advance!!

If you want to play games, then I would the Lenovo because it has the nVida 940m which provides much better performance than the Intel HD 5500. The slightly faster Core i7 CPU is nice, but not as significant as the 940m.
