lenovo T400 dead

After my wife accidently spilled some tea into my T400, the laptop slowly died. First blinked for an hour and then after we restarted it never rebooted. Completely dead.

I opened up the laptop after a few weeks, it doesn’5 seem bad in terms of the spill. Sticky a bit around the keyboard.

Any suggestions? Buy new or try and order some parts?

What about cleaning the motherboard with some isopropyl alcohol.

I had a bad water spill on mine a few months ago, if like mine your Motherboard is shot but your HHDs RAM ect is still good(I don't know about the CPU and this is all guess as yours may be different than mine) you will need to order a new motherboard they are usual like $20-$30 bucks and you can just plug your HHDs in and you'll never know it happened.
