Hello,

I am planning to upgrade my more than 3 years old Lenovo ThinkPad E460 laptop.
It came pre-installed with Windows 10 Pro, 4 + 4 = 8 GB RAM and 1 TB HDD.

I am planning to upgrade one of the 4 GB RAM chips with an Kingston 8GB PC3L 1600MHz Laptop RAM (KVR16LS11/8)
to make total of 12 GB RAM. Will it be compatible with my laptop ?
Will increasing RAM by 4 GB more to total of 16 GB further improve machine performance ?

I already have a spare 500 GB Samsung SSD 850 EVO.
Will it be compatible with my laptop ?
I have 630 GB free space out of 930 GB total available space on the 1 TB HDD. (i.e 300 GB used space)

What is the best way to migrate / clone OS and data to new Samsung SSD ?
I want to retain Windows 10 Pro license on the new SSD.
I already have the USB / SATA cable.

Thanks,
Gagan
