Lenovo thinkpad requiring original CD bypass?

Hey guys I recently bought a lenovo thinkpad and I would like to install windows xp onto it, I have an original XP cd key and the ISO on a usb of mine, but when i try to install it, it seems to ask for the original CD key.

Anyone know of a way to bypass this?

Then it seems when i try to install windows XP SP1, it says that the EULA is missing and I cant proceed

Seems the copy of XP you are using to install it is not valid, try a different disk. It may also just be missing the correct key. The key and disk type need to match. You can't use a Home key when installing an Pro version for example.
