Lenovo y 580 unplug charger!

hi!
i just bought lonovo y 580 tow days ago! but i have a problem with it! i play fifa 12 but when i unplug the charger i get a very low frame rate or i have this problem in any other games but when i plug that the frame rate back to normal! no charger plug means low frame rate!!!
in Gpu-z when the charger is pluged my core clock is : 835 but when i unplug charger it shows: 435!!!
so what is the problem and what should i do?

theres a chance its going onto power savign mode and switching to the integrated graphics. Dedicated Gpu's arent really designed to be "on the go" gaming platforms as they drain a considerable amount of electricity from the computer.

There is most likly something in the system settings that changes performance to save battery life. Lenovo has a power mgmt app that may allow you to configure this.
