i have just bought Lenovo y50-70

is this laptop good for gaming ? 016/2017 games ? ( as GTA v > Battlefield 1 > Assassin's creed synd )
i dont want to play on 1080p >> 720p will be enough for me .. but the games will run on 720p High or medium smoothly on this laptop ?

960M is overkill for 720P.
You can play those games at 1080P on Medium to High settings no problem.

Yes, it will be decent for 720p/900p gaming medium/high settings, less heavy titles at 1080p will run smooth too.
I own the previous version of this laptop with 860m gpu(-10% performance at max).
This laptop has thermal throttling due to mediocre cooling system, Harddisk (ssd update solves the problem here) is pretty slowas well. Screen quality is poor on TN panel version(i have switched the screen panel myself to IPS one). IPS version should be ok.
