Lenovo Y50 Gaming Lags

Hi guys,
I'm 14 years old and I need help for my new laptop Lenovo y50. I have not original Windows 8.1 and every game I have installed it lags.
I tried Far Cry 4;Assassin's Creed Unity.
They all lags! Even Assassin's Creed (2008).
Please help!

I think you meant you have a original windows 8.1

your y50 should play all those games fine, i have y510p (your laptop's older version)
you should check out if your games are starting with the nvidia graphics not with integrated graphics
you can right click on game exe and "select run with graphic processor" -> "high performance Nvidia processor"
also if you are playing on battery that might be the issue switch to AC power and then try

It works only at Assassin's Creed IV Blag Flag but with the lowest graphic.Any other ideas?I haven't tried with original Windows yet.

did you try with nvidia grapics? i am pretty sure that its the issue, BTW are your nvidia drivers up to date and did your problem start suddenly or from day one???

I tried with Nvidia graphics.It doesn't work.I have the latest update drivers and the problem is from day one.I thing is from from the Windows but I don't have original.

You should have got original window with ur laptop I think, anyway that should not be an issue here
Do one thing, download hwInfo install it and start it in sensor only mode then play any game once it loads alt-tab and see which gpu is utilized

I also had this problem.. just plug the charger in when gaming, and it works fine. worked for me...

I think you must change the battery mode to high permormance. It's worked for me on lenovo y50
