Have had laptop for almost half a year. Having some issues now with overheating. When playing bf4, temperation hovers around 95 and even hitting 99. When blown by external fan, temperate lowers to 60-70. Will a cooling pad help or should i send for repair? Not sure if warranty will be voided if i open the back cover to clean the fans.

Hi there A ang,

The best thing you can do is to contact the manufacturer's Support on the first place. They will tell you whether cleaning the dust out will void the warranty. Most probably blocked airflow by amassed dust is causing the overheat.
Cooling pad will certainly help. Though, it is not really a common thing for a 6 months old laptop to have such temps.

Cheers,

i had the same issue you need to do two things first and most important is to remove some kind of cloth that uses the laptop on the back cover (where is the laptop intake vent) and second if problem persist repaste cpu and gpu tell me if it worked for you
