Lenovo Y550P Overheating

It overheats playing simple games like Counter Strike: Source! I know it isn't a gaming machine, but it shouldn't be doing this.

I've only tried putting my laptop with space under for airflow, but it does no good! Like this: http/i.imgur.com/St5NrYr.jpg

My specs:
Intel Core i7 720QM @ 1.6GHz
4GB DDR3 @ 525MHz
Nvidia GeForce GT240M 1GB (1024MB) GDDR5
Windows 7 Ultimate (64-bit)
500GB SATA HD (SeaGate)
