Letter key behaving like the enter key - HP Windows 10

At least one of my alpha keys is behaving as if it is the "enter" key. The worst part is--That letter is part of my password, so when I turn my laptop on, I am unable to sign in. At the Windows sign-in screen, when I get to that letter in my password, it sends it and says that I have the wrong password. Whatever fix you suggest, please keep in mind that I am not even able to log onto my laptop.

It is an HP computer with Windows 10.

Thanks!

Solution
You should remove your keyboard and reseat the connector.

If you are in desperate need to access your machine, try using the enter key as the alpha key and vice versa.

Also, someone may just be messing with you (Changing the keymap so one key acts like another.)
