LG 47LM4700 vs LG 47LM4600

Can anyone tell me the difference between the LG 47LM4700 and the LG 47LM4600? Besides the included soundbar I cannot find a difference between the 2 TVs.
Also, is it possible to use this TV with an older surround sound receiver that is not 3D? My receiver has no HDMI inputs. Can I connect using the component or optical options until I upgrade the receiver?

I have been looking into the same comparison, and I believe from all the specs I've read, that they are the same. I purchased the 4700 and am very pleased with it. I bought it specifically for the 3D, and on that front, it has proved itself a winner!

That being said, the soundbar that came with it practically worthless. Save the $100 or so and get the 4600.

I have compared the two models on LG website and didn't find any marked difference between the two. So if you are looking to buy any of them; then go for either one. For sound bar if there isn't any HDMI port then how else you looking to connect? Through USB? If yes, then I guess it could work.

If I wanted to add a soundbar can any of you guys recomend one and how its conected to the tv? Ive never use one before.
