LG 55LW6500 - no display, no sound, power light is on
we had a high pitched sound then the screen turned off, the power light comes on/off when pushing the power button on the remote and the tv power button, but no display or sound or menus.
tried different power sockets
tried unplugging it over night
tried holding the power button (touch button) whilst unplugged for 30 seconds
have we busted the main board ? we have power (blue light) coming on so i think the power board is ok.
I found a replacement main board kit for $249 Australian (we are in Aus) just wanted to see if there was anything else before i take a gamble on a main board kit?
