Solved! lg 9500 led tv not picking channels, hdmi

My lg led tv would search and receiving no station, HDMI would not work, it shows no signal.

Not a lot of info here to go on, do you have an antenna connected to the TV? What is connected to the HDMI port?

U maybe confused as what you have.

HDMI suggests you have a carrier's set-top box, here the box will know what to do, and you don't have to ask TV to search anything.

If you have an antenna however, and that's what you want to use, that hooks up through a round connector oftenly labeled as RF/Coax, and THEN you go into your TV menu, say USING ANTENNA, then u can scan away. HDMI not involved here.
