LG tv and Samsung speakers

Sorry if this sounds mad people, but I've got 4 long Samsung speakers from an old surround sound system without the actual central control hub, I'm wondering if I can somehow modify the connections an plug it straight into my LG tv? All suggestions most gratefully accepted

You can't do that since the TV doesn't have amplification to drive the speakers. That was in the central control hub.
