It will also support massive parallel processing by connecting to other thinking phones and using their idle processing power to compute process intensive tasks. All of these phones will act as one large distributed processing super computer. Another, related feature is that they will backup copies of your data on phones across the world so that if your phone is destroyed all data on it will still be kept somewhere. Destruction of as many as 25% of these phones will not negatively affect their ability to store large amounts of data on their enemies..err your contracts.

They will also come pre-loaded with facial recognition software so you can quickly add your friends as contact just by taking their picture! Other pre-loaded apps include the Chevy one that can start and stop your car for you, and the home security app that allows you to view surviellance cameras in your home from anywhere at anytime. Best of all, the phone even includes the ability to schedule and control LG's new line of home cleaning and maitnance robots!

The term smart is used too often to discribe advance programmed events, I will call it smart when it finds a way to wash and dry my cloths while seprating them in the wash cycle, oh never mind someone already made an app for that .

It's sad that all of these electronics companies needed Apple to show them how it's done with the iPod, iPhone and iPad. Maybe this or Google glasses will break that cycle, but I'm not optimistic.

If Samsung and Asus are so great, why didn't they come up with the Transformer and the Galaxy Tab before the iPad? If Samsung is so great, why didn't it come up with Galaxy S before the iPhone?

It's because they suck, they have no vision and they're run by commitees of bean counters.
Apple didn't make a phone better than SGS2 because it didn't have to. It didn't put 20 CPU cores in the new iPad because it didn't have to. And while Samsung, Asus and others are scrambling to catch up, Apple is raking it in and laughing at them.

The Galaxy Tab was not the first tablet from Samsung, nor was the Transformer the first tablet from ASUS.

I didn't say they were, but the fact is Apple created the tablet market by doing the iPad right, the competition is struggling to catch up, and unlike Apple, they didn't even have to develop their own OS. The only reason there are technically more impressive mobile devices than iPhone and iPad is that Apple doesn't really have to go cutting edge. They cornered the market, made a killing and now Samsung, Asus, Acer, Toshiba etc are fighting over scraps on razor thin margins while Apple is working on something new (presumably).
