Line in

i have my mic plugged into the line in, From the xenyx 502 mixer. I still get this message http/gyazo.com/e694cb64a96fc6d808784611a2e63d23
But it still doesnt pick it up http/gyazo.com/e513e95baedbb4f32df61f8bb42ba36f

Any idea whats up?
I dont want to put it through my mic in because the mic boost, Plus that jack is lower quality for some reason.

Forgot to close this, I found the solution, My motherboard is only support 2.1 sound, But the realtek control panel was in 5.1 mode so it was using my line in and mic in for output jacks. Thanks for your help anyways.
