I'm just setting up an FTA system and had the understanding that a
universal LNB would work for dish network music channels but now am not
sure. Seems that DTV and Dish LNB's use circular polarization and
everyone else is linear. Any help, and any suggestions on lnb choice in
general? Was thinking of this:

+++++

I bought a circularly polarized LNB from Walmart fot around $40. It
works fine for the music channels on EchoStar.

You'd be better off with a Dish 300 or DirecTV single-satellite dish.
The ebay LNB is linear polarization; won't work for Dish.
