Locating laptop monitor replacement

So my Asus G71Gx-X2 took a bit of a fall a while ago, and cracked its screen real bad. Is there a way to locate the exact model screen that a laptop uses? I'd be surprised if asus used that screen in only one type of laptop.

As a side note, anyone know reputable places to purchase laptop screens? The few places I've seen either look like they're run on a north korean warez site, or want minimum orders of 10...

The only way to get the exact screen model is to pull the bezel apart and pull the screen then look at the screen model number on the back or on the metal part of it.
