Question Lock App Button Does Nothing

The “Lock App” function does not stop apps from being closed. I accidentally swipe apps up and close them all the time. I thought this feature would stop that. What’s the point of the button?

I think, this button should prevent closure if you select "clear all". So all apps would close and clear memory, while important ones would remain. Or if you have the auto-clean function enabled. I turned this on so that apps with music or audiobooks wouldn't close.

That appears to be the purpose. I didn't even consider it. When it says "prevents locked apps from being closed" I thought that's what it meant. How odd. Oh well.
